What can one say about Pattaya? The ubiquitous T shirt says all of it really. "Good boys go to Heaven, bad boys head to Pattaya." This sleepy fishing town exploded into life in the Vietnam war, if this became the destination of a large number of G.I.s searching for some R & R. With the plethora of "rich" American soldiers, the girls soon flocked within vast quantities and after this a huge number of girls are employed in the bars, clubs and massage parlours which can be everywhere in Pattaya. We reached among the cheapest bungalows at Bo Phut beach. It was so old actually it had no individual bungalows created from palm to rent, but rather was a lot more like a motel created from stucco. Electricity originated in an electrical generator that has been switched off at 8 p.m. Not that there were any need for electricity anyway; candles were included in the price.
